Free .tk Domain Name
Get a free domain name like YourName.tk with URL and Email forwarding. This domain may be deleted, if it counts less then 25 visitors in 90 days. You can use the domain, but you will not get ownership if you do not purchase a paid domain.
.bbs, .fur, .free, .geek, .glue, .gopher, .indy, .ing, .micro, .null, .oss, .parody and others
Ever heard about these top level domains (TLDs)? Probably not. And even if you know a domain name under one of these TLDs, you can not access it without changing your network settings. The TLDs showing above are controlled by the OpenNic Project. The OpenNic Project sees itself as an open alternative to the ICANN. It allows pretty much everybody to register a top level domain. Unfortunately, only a few domain name server are resloving domain names under these free TLDs. So when you register a domain name under one of these TLDs, do not expect, that everybody has access to your website.
.co.cc
Domains under .co.cc used to be very popular. Since Google started banning .co.cc websites from it the search results, using this service results in a major disadvantage in seo. So, if you want to be found on Google, do not use them!
